Ministering to All
From their colonial beginnings, our parishes have been called to care for those in our congregations and in our region.
Inreach
As Christians, one of our most important calls is to love one another. Our two congregations are mutually supportive, frequently working together to visit sick parishioners, provide meals, send cards, and even fix flat tires. Through our vestries and ECW (Episcopal Church Women) we strive to look after each other as family.
Outreach
As congregations and through the ministries of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of both St. John’s and North Farnham, these are just some of the ways we have impacted our community in the past year:
* Monthly food collection for the food banks at Warsaw and Farnham Baptist Churches
*$1,000 donation to the Salvation Army
*1,000 donation to support the North Farnham Volunteer EMS and Fire Department
* Visitation and gift bags for the residents of Farnham Manor Nursing Home
*Bellringing in December for the Salvation Army
*Coat and Toy Collecting and Adopting Angels for the Salvation Army
*Sharing our church hall in Warsaw with local organizations and community group
*Providing supplies for the Richmond County Schools’ nurse’s office
*Outreach to the new Boys and Girls Club
*Assisting with fuel bills for Richmond County residents
*Support for the Haven women’s shelter
